Stop screaming. If the product is too expensive for you then donít buy it.

O-PAP or N-PAP underfolders do not have optics rails.

I just picked up a master mount and installed on my mak90. I also purchased a utg mount which doesn't fit. The UTG mount slides on about 1/8 of an inch and the sticks. Has anyone else had this problem and is it an issue with UTG or the Master Mount? Are there specific mounts that work with the Master Mount?

My UTG mount (will report back with exact model number) has worked fine on my Master Mount.

Any standard AKM side rail mount should work with the Master Mount.

Did you adjust the mount clamp before attempting to place it on the rail?

Iím assuming your referring to the UTG Pro optic mount. The adjusting lever on the bottom rotates to physically bow the lower part of the mount up to compress the lower part of the dovetail rail. You didnít mention in your post if you bought a new or used UTG mount. If used, this mount may have been used on a more narrow side rail and thus you need to open up the center of the UTG mount more to return the bottom of the mount to its neutral position. I will send you a contact DM and see if I can help troubleshoot further.

James, I responded to you DM.

AKBlue, it's not an issue with the lever as the mount will only barely slide on about 1/8" before it encounters resistance.

To keep the readers of this thread in the loop: I have talked to Edd1e22 about his issue. He recently bought a gen 5 UTG Pro optic mount from RTG Parts. So I immediately bought a UTG Pro too from RTG Parts with the thought that the one I bought is from the same production run as the one Edd1e22 has. I have tried the UTG Pro I bought on 4 of my rifles with an AK Master Mount side rail and there is no fitting issue. Using calipers to measure the UTG mount’s dovetail cut-out shows it is approximately sized for our AK Master Mount side rail dimensions. So I’m not sure what specifically is the issue with Edd1e22’s UTG Pro mount sample. Maybe there is a burr on the cut-out or maybe UTG has a wider + / - range of tolerances and he is experiencing a stacking of tolerance extremes?

Off topic from Eddie's situation, but is there a chance of any more blems coming to market? Missed your last sale.

Fear21 no additional blems to sale at this time. I can respect you trying to save some money, but that requires us to have some production misadventures which is not good for business.

I've got one thats been waiting to go on an ITM ARMS CO build thats held together with button heads screws. One UGLY gun, but its smooth running and accurate. I think you just inspired me to put something together. Maybe put a Vortex 1x shotgun scope i have lying around on top of it. I think it just got bumped up the to do list. Right after the two M4 buttstocks that I'm mounting on the ITM and a WASR....Should get around to it in the next week or so. I'll try to figure out how to post some pics in the meantime...
