Default Introducing K-VAR Corp's new forum manager

It is with regret we announce Robert (Robertdk2) is no longer with K-var Corporation. Robert has been a great asset over the years and we appreciate him for all of his hard work. However he no longer represents K-VAR.

That being said, we would like to introduce…. our new AK forum Manager Houston Moore (aka Houston K-var). He will be answering your tech questions and I am sure much more!

A little bit about Houston:
Houston was on our team for the Red Oktober Kalashnikov Championship, and came to work for us shortly thereafter. He has worked in the firearms industry since 2011, working behind the counter as a salesman and gunsmith, and has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of firearms spanning from about the 1850’s to more modern designs. However, Combloc firearms are Houston’s primary interest, ever since he was given his first rifle as a teenager, an M44. The AK, however, is definitely his rifle of choice, with 5.45 being his favorite round.

Please give him a warm welcome!

Welcome aboard Houston Moore!

We always have a lot of questions and requests and in particular, have great ideas about what AK configurations K-VAR ought to bring in from Bulgaria and we hope, from Russia as well.

He's not a member already? If he's into 74s like that! Did you at least warn him about this place?

Hey New Guy, what's the scoop on Molot filing bankruptcy as alluded to in another thread?

Mr. Houston (K-VAR's new manager)

When are you going to start communicating and answering questions with the members here? We are a hard ass group to please and Robert Keller has done a good job with Q&A's as well as informing us with the upcoming new products from K-VAR.

I hope that you are a good communicator.

Guys, stop panicking until FIME puts out official word, everything is still good to go.
Russians do that all the time. They just opened store in Moscow, its tactic they use

Well, it only took couple of weeks for the hardworking admins to approve my account, so that's cool.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I'm looking forward getting to know everyone.
No, I'm not a plant, I've lurked in various forums for quite a while, I just never joined any, because I didn't feel that I had any valuable input worth providing.
I wish I was the new manager, but, I'm just a customer service rep. However, that doesn't mean I'm not a gun guy.

To be totally honest, I currently know as much as you guys do about the Molot situation, But I'll keep you guys updated on that if I hear anything.

Hello everyone, I'm Cliff. I manage many of the operations here at K-Var. I worked closely with Robert for many years and have to say that his mentorship will be missed by the team and myself.
Houston Moore, our AK Forum Manager, has just received account approval here on the Files will be able to respond and interact with members of the Files regularly. Houston is being modest. He is a lot more than just a "Gun Guy".

How many of Kvar's staff are on here?

Also is Robert bound by contract or a noncompete clause not to participate in the forums or will we still see him here, just not as a representative of Kvar?

Three total (K-VAR username, Houston, and myself) Houston will be the one doing the regular interaction.

Robert will no longer be representing the company on here. He may choose to participate on the forums under a personal account but I can not say for sure if he will do that. I know that many of you worked closely with many of him on the Files and I apologize for any gap in communication that you experienced.
