Just wondering if anyone uses a scope on their RPK..planning on buying one next month(an RPK ) and would like to get a scope for it..seen alot of pics of these guns but none have scopes..I was wondering about the POSP 8 power since my PSL has the 4 power..ideas, suggestions?

I have a 4x pso on mine, works nicely. I would think the 8x psop would be even better. My .02

I would think picking us a x8 and mounting that on the PSL then moving the x4 to the RPK would be the way to go.

but that is just me.

go to the Kalinka site Andrew ..I couldnt answer your question...wish I could..the only reason I want to scope it at all is my eyes arent so good ..I really cant tell you what power to go or even if what you want is available..I dont even know the accurate range of an rpk..just they were or still are in some countries a suppression fire weapon mainly (short burst)..so probably not that accurate at distance..Im sure these guys know more about them than I do, havent even shot mine yet but I would want to go with a better /more powerful scope than whats on my psl..the fellas told me 8x..and that sounds good ..specially with my eyes

have a red dot on mine. works well.
