Default Dinzag Arms

Has anyone conducted business with Brian at Dinzag Arms here recently? Iíve sent a few emails over the last couple of weeks an but havenít gotten a response. Iím looking to purchase one of his muzzle cutters to reduce the diameter of a Saiga 308 barrel so that I can install an AK74 FSB on it. Has anyone here done this conversion, I really donít want to remove the barrel to have it turned down unless I canít obtain the cutter. Anyone here have the cutter and pilot for the 2Ē cutter theyíd be willing to rent or sell?

Thanks

I think Dinzag is pretty much a one-man operation. Occasionally, he shuts down to go on vacation.

I just got some Vepr bullet guides 2 weeks ago from him. I think he is a one man shop.

yes, he is big on the saiga12 forum and I do believe 1 person shop. To my knowledge he does a good job and hasn't fucked anyone, so I'd do business.

Brian is a one man op but is good to his word. I have bought from him with no issues.
I needed a flash hider that he had to thread with a different pitch. He did.

I sent him an email a few weeks ago and got a quick response. He has been good the few times I dealt with him. Try again.

I’ve ordered many times in the past without issue but I haven’t gotten a response back from him over the last few weeks. I was able to find the tool I needed from another vendor in the mean time.

I been waiting on a bullet guide for my saiga for 2 weeks.
Normally he ships within a week, he must be really backed up. Hope nothing serious happened.

Default Dinzag

I have ordered corn them for over 10 years. Mostly Saiga conversion parts. They are established and pioneers in the industry. Good product and quick shipment

I’ve dealt with them for many years as well without issue. Perhaps he’s on vacation as I haven’t had any response to my email queries over the last four weeks. I hope he’s ok as well.

There was a time when he did some wok with conversions. Then he decided not to when the Obama UN gun treaty thing went through. He said he didn't want to risk getting in trouble.

Hope he is well too. Four weeks is a long time. He usually replied back same day or next day. He is somewhat local to me.

Are you using this in a drill press? If your using a hand drill you better have one incredibly steady hand. If that cutter walks on you at all your not going to have it concentric to the bore and that FSB will sit on the barrel cockeyed.

Dinzag made me a custom bolt-on front sling mount for my Vepr 54R a couple of years ago. The part looks great, fits perfectly, and has never come loose. Communication with him was always prompt. Maybe he's taking some time off for the holidays?

Dinzag is GTG, He has helped me many times and the conversion parts are a side business. He is probably busy with his family but if anyone needs contact PM me and and I will get a hold of him.

I have purchased several bullet guides and drill tap kits from him in the past without a hitch.
I have read horror stories of broken taps in trunnions, but he uses quality drill bits and taps in his kits.
