So I have been wanting a Beretta for a while now and was bummed I missed out on the $269 shipped deal PSA had on the 92s. There was no way I was paying $500-600 for a 92fs or $300+ for a gamble on a used 92s. Well J&G decided to throw the 92s on sale for $249 so I bit. Total with shipping and ffl was $306 and at that price I could risk the gamble. What I received was way better than I expected, and is in far better condition than good IMO.
Beretta came with one magazine and I had a surplus M9 magazine I picked up at a garage sale for $5 so I have added the notch to that and it functions 100% now. I have to honestly say that on the first magazine I was shooting this more accurate than any of the dozens of firearms I have shot in the past. I shot a 92fs and couldn't even hit the target but with this a 6" plate at 20 yards was no problem. ![]() ![]() Small import mark on the underside instead of the huge PW Arms billboard that is present on the side of most. Not sure if all of J&Gs Berettas are like this though ![]() Small amount of wear on the beavertail ![]() Very little wear on the internals for a surplus firearm ![]() ![]() Overall I am very pleased with what I received. J&G has these categorized as "good condition but scratches, bluing wear, and corrosion may be present". Overall this Beretta seems to fall in the same category as the "Very Good" sold by SOG and Classic Firearms but without the monstrous import mark. |

This is the norm for surplus European law enforcement firearms.

Yes that is what I have read. On the contrary I looked at one of these in my local ffl last year and the bore was very dark and pitted. This one is shiny and looks new

Dayum that is very nice OP. Thanks for the thread and pictures!!!
Those internals look mint! Literally was going to do a thread today on it. Still thinking about ordering it or not. Just want a beater 9mm I can throw around and not worry about. Only have a P30S and feg hi power clone so far. There at $270 now with like $20 for handselect. For the price I don't think many come close to it. Goddam it need to stop looking at your thread before i order one! ![]() ![]()

I agree, the shipping usually kills their good deals or makes them equal to the prices of other vendors.
