Polish Tantal Sling
Looking to pick up a original sling for my new Ak-74 Polish Tantal. Anyone know who might sell them?

Not sure there was a distinct sling for the Tantal separate from the one for the AKM/AK-47. Copes has Polish AK-47 slings for ~$8:

Though it says nylon, the one I received looked more cotton/canvas weave, and I had to let it sit in the garage for a while to get the mold smell out of it. There are five reviews of it on that page.

There is a guy on Gunbroker from Warsaw selling slings dated to match the years Tantals were made. I think I gave him $14 US for the sling and shipping from Poland, I have no idea how he cashed the check-lol

I noticed those yesterday after I posted this. They look like Nylon. I would perfer canvas/cotton, but I guess I cant be picky.

The sling pictured on Copes website is correct as per all of the Tantal kits that I bought which included the sling. Course, those slings could have been included from the importer and might not have been original.

The Copes' slings are Polish, but the one pictured is missing its leather keeper.

Pretty sure the one I got from Copes' last Fall had the keeper, but I'll try to remember to check later.

The one they've used to advertise the slings is missing the keeper. If matters to anyone, they should call and ask about it.
Be prepared to explain what a keeper is, I suppose.
