Default Budget Saiga 12 Chest Rig?

Any ideas on a budget Saiga 12 chest rig that I use to run a shotgun class or two? Iíve been looking at 308 chest rigs. Not wanting to spend a whole lot if I can help it.

Define "a whole lot".

Kennedy designs could probably build you something nice for less than a whole lot.

I've found that surplus Rhodesian .308 magazine satchels work well. They have five compartments that securely hold five 5-round magazines. It's been a while since I bought them, but as I recall, they were about $12 each.

If you want good and fully customizable while on a budget, check out the Blackhawk Split Front Chest Rig. https://blackhawk.com/products/tacti...ront-chest-rig

I just got mine off of Ebay brand new for $52.00 (w/ S&H). I threw a few spare pouches that I had laying around on it and "voila," I now have a nice rig to wear when I'm on the quad on the property. The longest I've worn mine was for about 4-5 hours, and I pretty much forgot at times that I was actually wearing it. Not sure if it's what you are looking for, but it works for me. And having a split front is king in my opinion, especially if you ever have to hit the dirt for whatever reason. Plus, it makes taking it on and off that much easier, while still being secure. Hope that helps.
