Wait, what? I thought if you efiled, you never receive a real stamp. You only get the digital pdf to print out.

Maybe you do? I would think you also receive the actual original as well?

I haven't seen anybody anywhere yet saying they got a real stamp from efiling. Everybody looks like they're saying the opposite. If you want a physical stamp for your collection, you have to snail mail it.

For the form 1 it was individual. Everything before it was with the trust. I saw folks getting quick results and decided to try it. ATF hates me I guess....

For all those going the E-file form 1 route and getting them back really quick are you filing as a individual or under a trust?
I know the OP's thread is based on him filing as an individual but how about everyone else?

Individual

My Russian 74U took 9 months on snail mail form 1

MP-5 took 1 1/2 weeks Efile.

Just unreal these time lines.

I'm pretty sure it's all the same, but be prepared to wait if you're buying the can and not making it (Form 4 vs Form 1).

Status changed to APPROVED! The g-men must be working overtime today. 16 days from sending it in, the magic of modern technology.

Yep, I'm still waiting on a F1 suppressor stamp that has been pending since Halloween day 2018.

This was before they started the efile system back up again.

What are the requirements for engraving when filing as a form 1 individual? And how hard is it to transfer an sbr from an individual to add to your trust later?

Well are you manufacturing a new firearm/silencer or making a SBR from an existing one?

Then you have to engrave your name and city + state somewhere on the receiver of each. I don't know about transfers to trusts, I'm sure google can help.

I read that if you later wanted to transfer to a trust you would have to pay the $200 again for each nfa item. I quit reading after I saw that.

Yeah I saw that you’d have to pay the $200 tax stamp again, kind of sucks. Just was unsure of if there was anything else you’d have to do. And the engraving I found quite a few different answers on.

If any of those answers were "You don't have to engrave" then they're talking out their ass.

Depends. What if you named your trust "safe, semi, auto" or "century arms"? Then your trust name is already engraved on the side of the gun?

Meh I didn’t engrave any of my NFA items as a individual.

Really don’t give a fuck.

Admitting to breaking the law? That's a bold strategy, Cotton, let's see if it pays off for him.

Given the fact that Iíve had NFA items for past 10 years and had ATF agents shoot some of them and not say a damn thing about my name being engraved on Them , is safe to assume Iíll be ok..
