+1 but now is the wrong time of year. Christmastime is prime time IMO for TSC.
You can likely find some good rebates and shipping online, but nothing like year end deals from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
Give us a clue as to size, capacity, weight, and structural integrity long with fire rating.

Check scrap yards around sporting goods distribution centers. All the ones with a crumpled corner due to dropping off a pallet, scratched, etc. wind up at a scrap metal place eventually. That Fatboy safe with a bunged up lower corner would go for $2-300 from the scrapyard owner.

Watch YouTube videos on how easy some of these are to bust or cut into.

A combination of security (several layers) are your best bet.

The only reason I have one is because I am legally mandated to by the Syrupland Horsepigs, so I have a StackOn cabinet I got for 100 bucks on kijiji. My home isnt particularly likely to be targeted, nor would it be particularly easy to get in so Im not really concerned about it.

Usually Liberty at the factory outlet about 20 minutes away from me. Then there's Champion and Superior safe outlet just down the road about 5 minutes away. All good and have a couple of the Liberty and Champion safes myself and also have a Canon Armory 64 gun safe.

Check Craigslist. I have a number of safes I picked up...and they are awfully heavy and build extremely well. A few well placed mods and they are good to go.

Large data safes are a good bet too....and available on Craigslist.

I picked up a couple of SecureIt's storage cabinets. They're not heavy but they're easy to move into place and bolt down. After realizing how easy a heavy safe can be cut open it drove me to want something like this instead. I really like how rifles fit inside them and I've got several of them all bolted together. They're in a locked room, on a continuously recording camera, with motion sensors monitoring the room.

Generally you want one that will fit everything you have now plus what you will buy in the next 10 years. And the gun capacity rating is a joke. If you laid the safe on its back and ground the guns into powder maybe 64 would fit in a 64 gun safe. It would be difficult to get 64 pistols into one and have any sort of free access.

You can get the number of long guns into a safe specified by the manufacturer, just not the way it shows in the pictures. Put them in gun socks and put them in one muzzle up, and the next muzzle down. The four or five rifles that I use the most are up front and not in socks. No dings or scratches yet. A few optics thrown in there brings it down to about 75%.

Industry trick: Find a Samoan company.

That`s not a joke. Samoan movers specialize in the especially huge and awkward items that average Joe Americano won`t touch.

Several suggestions for tractor supply, does TSC deliver safes? Or have a professional mover do so?

Sams Club always has a Stack On 35 gun safe with 45 min ratings for $500 for a starter

Multi-layered security is better then relying on just a $2,000-$5,000 safe
to protect your belongings. Even a $500 Stack On safe is more secure if properly
installed, and protected, with a home security system, and Big F'n Dog.

Front door attacks are gimmicks to sell safes. Most thieves cut right thru
the sides in under 30 minutes, regardless the safe. So don't get sold on the
front doors thickness, it's marketing gimmicks......angle grinder will cut
thru most safes sides like butter

Just keep in mind your REAL objective is to give any potential burglar under 5 minutes.

Over 5min just to get the god damn cutting wheel on the grinder. Letís not got robbing places prepared or anything.

Im in a shitty situation where I canít take my own advice, but whatever safe you get, donít put it in the same place as your tools. Iíve talked to 2 too many people who said ďthey cut into my safe with my own grinderĒ.

My advice would be to never hire a moving company for a safe.

You're allowing a stranger to know what type safe you have, it's location, the internals of your home and your security. Even if they are honest, a few beers and loose lips sink ships. Maybe they get a kick back for giving leads to less than savory types.

I just wouldn't risk it.

Also do not get caught up with the big fancy impressive door. You as a buyer are mesmerized by it but I can assure you a thief is not and will cut any other side of the safe than that which is much easier to get into.

BOLT IT DOWN, not sure why people own a $3000+ safe but won't take 30 minutes to bolt it down.

Lastly, "nobody is ever going to be able to get this 1k safe down from upstairs" guess again.. You're thinking from a homeowners standpoint of not scratching your walls or dinging in the wall. A thief will not, he/she/they will slide that safe to the stairs and push that baby down those stairs taking out half your house in the process. Time is their enemy and some broken guns is better than prison and no guns so BELIEVE they can get that sucker down.

So again time and secrecy are your allies, make the most of them through whatever means possible.

Sturdysafe.com

Roughly twice the metal thickness for the same price as some of the flashier RSC's.

I've owned a Cannon, and compared side by side to my Sturdy, it was junk. Got rid of it and bought a 2nd Sturdy.

Depends how you see it.... Mechanical lock no batteries to run dead or keyboard to crap out. Keypad is usually a bit faster and simpler to access

Beware the cheap cylindrical keys. Some of those types of locks are easy to defeat. I happened across some info and tried what I learned on the small strong box "safes" that use the "rapid access" fingertip buttons I used in the bedroom and my truck. Not good!

Larger safes have a dial combo lock. The small ones are now hidden and anchored.
