Thank you.
We used to do this same sort of thing for the DOD [only] for many years, so lots of experience.
Now the DOD will only buy NEW production foreign weapons, so what little of the new-old-stock cold war surplus stock remains, is now available to the civilian market.

I will be in Europe for most of March buying & cutting-up brand new [old stock] AKs and many other items for kits.
We will end-up with 15-20 containers [combined] of parts kits and factory made inert ordnance.
Should be fun.
Thanks for the kind words.

Any idea what kind of Ak kits you'll be cutting up?

Just wanted to say that these kits are outstanding. These are not your everyday torch cut nightmares, these were carefully cut in exactly the right places. They were clearly first disassembled to be able to cut them without cutting anything important. Bob, you did a fine job on these and it had to be a lot of extra work. They are pricey but really an easy build. Thanks for thinking these so thoroughly through.

these look really nice, but I'm having trouble finding any info on building them. are these being done as rewelds?

bob, you should convince marcolmar & vltor to start cranking out PKMs again... they would be a bulk buyer. I'm thinking they could take several hundred of these off your hands

p.s. any new stories or pictures from your travels overseas?

Some people are doing rewelds, others are buying 80 % recievers from cold steel solutions.

We offered the kits to Malcolmar and the DOD, no interest.
I am in europe now, just chopped up 1000 more pieces.
Nos RPK, ugly mp-40s, as new AKs, 22 cal machine guns, 12 pallets of items, too many to list now.
Found 10 pieces of 1910 maxims, no russian markings.
Lots of mortars, most never in the states before.
Items should be in the states in 6 weeks.
Thanks, Bob
