Default Minigun Repair

So let me first start off by saying its about as easy to be a rocket surgeon as it was to get this transmission that shoots bullets working correctly.
Dealer friend of mine bought it and was royally screwed up. Pretty sure advice was given from the Gunsmith and DIY section of this forum on how to build it.

Safing Sector was out so with bolts installed rotor wouldn't turn. Holes for feeder/delinker completely out of spec one hole was .250 and other hole was .040 off. Specs of hole are .192+-.001.
Welded up and remachined all the holes and correctly plotted the radius for the safing sector and gun is working fine. Minus the batteries going dead from not being charged when it was sent.

For everyones viewing pleasure a new unfired M134 with Garwood parts and clutch system on a Crane mount.

One word of advice to save your buddy a headache: if using a tube and 5gal bucket to collect brass and links, check it often.

My FFL has an M134 and let the bucket and tube fill up, leading to his set up crunching down on some cases and links at speed. Apparently, quite an expensive fix when sent back to Dillon.

O god I bet that was FUN

Name of that game is how many links and brass does it take to stop a 3HP motor.

On a related note...I use to work at the same plant as the guy that built the mini gun for the terminator 2 movie. (Eaton Cutler Hammer Lincoln, IL) He was one hell of a machinist and a very rare bird. FFL to manufacture class 3...In Illinois where it is illegal for the average joe to even possess a class 3 anything!

That gun was transferable and actually just got confiscated and cut up by the ATF. 375K down the drain because of some stupid shit another dealer did.

...I just peed a little....
Called a now deceased buddy (Nightstalker) who crew chiefed a Chinook and was test firing one of his birds minis - said it got so hot that a round cooked off and blew out at least one barrel. Said "I'm gonna be busy tonight." Sounds a lot less involved than this ordeal, but welll done!

I'm pretty sure I saw a recent photo of a guy holding that minigun. It was used in at least one other movie.

But if it really was destroyed, that's a damn shame.

It all has to do with Garwood Industries

The rest is on google. Not that story specifically but people that are in the know all know about it. When a gun that are less than 15 on the registry gets chopped we find out.
